I don’t actively seek inspiration—shapes, lines and nature effortlessly finds its way into my art and design. Walks often fill my mind with so many ideas that keeping track feels impossible. But the most special moments come during sunrise hikes or mountain climbs. There’s something magical about moving through the dark and reaching the summit just as the sun rises, a feeling that deeply influences my creative process.
I grew up surrounded by the vibrant geometry and rich colors of Iran’s art and architecture, which naturally found their way into my creative expression. Now, being away, I feel an even stronger pull to incorporate those influences into my work. Inspired by the culture of the East and its craftsmanship, with intricate rugs, fabrics, and architectural details, I instinctively simplify forms in that style. Yet, when I let go of control, my illustrations take on a more fluid, organic movement, blending structure with spontaneity.
