My time at Share Our Strength
I joined the team with limited experience in grammar editing and long-form layout design and was fortunate to work closely with a writer as my manager. That partnership sharpened my editorial eye and attention to detail, and I now genuinely enjoy working on reports.
Over time, one of my core contributions became developing multiple creative directions for each project—often starting with early concept notes and visual explorations that later evolved into reusable assets, full collateral systems, or new campaign concepts. Seeing this work re-used and re-pitched for future projects has been both rewarding and energizing.
Summer Nutrition Summit
I led the design direction for the Summer Nutrition Summit, which brings together leaders to talk about the implementation, innovation, and future of summer nutrition programs. The visual approach carried through the agenda and posters for both the 2024 and 2025 convenings.
